Liverpudlian for a day
Out of York and off to Liverpool with a minor detour ;-)
Only had a couple of days in liverpool, stayed at a quaint little hostel called "The Embassie"
Did the Beatles thing, had plenty to drink(again), however i MUST ADMIT THAT THE NIGHT LIFE WAS A LITTLE CRAPPY.
However I did hit chinatown for dinner, and had some awesome excellent greens that were comparible to the Kow.
Did a tour of Anfield stadium, but was unable to get a ticket for the game this weekend.
However I did watch the game in a local pub, which was packed to bursting.
Liverpool was worth a visit but I wouldn't rush back.........
Off now back to Wales, another long train ride
Aaaah, The Kop. Glad you made it to Anfield :) Too bad the lads couldn't come up with the win for you that day - then the pub would've been pumping! Oh well. Sorry to hear bout the nightlife, I have heard before that the Cavern is a bit of a hole...
